This is for anyone who is struggling with their mental health and needs a completely honest expectation of what you will be experiencing at The Summit. Take it as a warning and proceed with caution. What is on their website is none other than false advertisement. When I brought my partner there, it was not even the place in the photos. The big facility is under construction unbeknownst to us, and none of the therapies on the website were used aside from CBT and 12 steps. My partner is NOT an addict, he needs help with his mental health and the staff completely disregarded that and would say unprofessional comments like “the way you’re acting you have to be on a substance.” They also lie right through their teeth. Staff told him that I said I wanted him here because he’s too much for me. Danielle the case manager told my partner that I am using him, that he’s a burden to me, and called him handsome, leaving him traumatized. How is someone who is supposedly a mental health advocate going to discredit someone’s support system!! This is detrimental on someone’s mental state of mind and COMPLETELY out of line for someone who works in this establishment. On top of this, my partner is diabetic and the nursing staff did not even bother to check his sugar AT ALL; he had to eat sugar packets to feel like he wasn’t slipping throughout the day. When he tried to leave, they threatened to take his belongings and cellphone and LET HIM WALK OFF A MOUNTAIN BY HIMSELF!!! I had to order a DoorDash and beg the driver to drive him down the mountain. The Harmony Health Group should be EMBARRASSED AND ASHAMED to know their staff is doing more damage to their patients' well-being than good.

To say Harmony Summit in Newport Tennessee was a God Send would be an understatement. A very dear and loved family member ended up at Harmony strictly by chance and it was the best thing that could have happened to him. The care and concern he received was wonderful! Making him feel comfortable and safe throughout his treatment. Also the communication with family was routine, giving us the peace of mind he was continuing to heal. I spoke often with his therapist Victoria, keeping me informed of the progress being made, also throwing in a little free therapy for myself! The case workers and medical staff also get high marks! I will highly recommend without hesitation Harmony in Newport to anyone struggling with addiction or depression or just needing help coping. I am very grateful to all the professionals on staff there.

This is the worst place ever for someone trying to get ahold of someone there. We are still waiting for someone to contact medical leave at work location. Its been over a month and his already home. I would not recommend this place to any out of towners. I was told from other facilities such as hospital that they do not contact you back, if they have issues with out of towners they immediately ship them off to another location. They definitely don't contact you back and follow up. Very disappointed and still waiting for follow up call to handle the situation so this can be closed. Unbelievable

How does the health department even let this place still stay in business. No one here is in recovery and they talk to clients and families like dogs. I wish that the state would shut this place down. They are a very abusive facility and should not be in business. If anyone from the state is reading this please investigate and shut them down. They will take your money and if you don’t stay when you get there they still keep it. The folks who owns these facilities should be locked up.

I finally got someone on the phone after calling at least 5 other facilities, thats when I found Logan. He spoke to me, took the time to explained to me wht Summit had to offer. My son has not yet excepted he is an addicted" not like others" he said. i know i cant do this on my own now, im ready. It took a little nudge to get my son on the plane " Logan was there well after his shift " and gave my son wht he needed to make that step. We got him to the air port and it was one delay after another. My son was mad as hell "Logan was there, well after his shift" gave my son what he needed to stay over night at the airport port, starting to go through withdraws, my son yet again was not happy. My son got to the facility. Logan and Ross called me to let me know, my son was in good spirits. I dropped to my knees crying. LOGAN WAS THERE THROUGH ALL MY TEAR AND FEARS.. this is just the beginning of my sons healing and I know Logan will be there. He is my life line. Logan has and will always have a special spot in my heart. Now we have one more month, LOGAN, can you stand strong for me and my son throughout his next phase ..... 🥹 im sure you will A heartbroken but thankful mother 🙏
