I am a 16 y/o who was put on probation because I was caught with marijana. I had to take a IOP Class for my probation and this class helped me very much with understanding more on consequences of drug use, physically, mentally, and even the legal troubles. Im incredibly grateful to have been guided in a way to see things much clearly and from a different perspective and given new information that has given me enough knowledge to know what it is I had put in my body and what affected and how it affected it giving me now a sense of control as to what I know I want to feel and what I don’t want to feel. I’ve learned new ways to cope with my emotions and possible anxiety and panic attacks learned how I can’t control other’s actions than my own. Became more self aware of myself and learned new things about myself also got better at being consistent and much more confident and comfortable talking to new people. Learning new things that I have integrated in my day to day life since starting the program has been eye opening and inspiring me to do better and that I can do it. It’s helped me shape myself into a better version of myself and helped me grow my knowledge of substances that you wouldn’t normally think could possibly be true. The program helped me and my family in a way it’s given me peace of mind and helped me become more relaxed and calm. At first it was difficult adjusting to something new due to previously having a different environmental scheduled and found a way to work and go about classes. From there it helped me get my own time, I’ve always helped everyone around me and put them first so In some way it definitely helped me gain back control of my life and give me that time by only doing my own thing for myself showing up for myself and knowing I want Bette for myself without having something else enturbien my time. You could say it was my bit of a “white space/line”. Incredibly grateful for showing up for myself and giving myself the time to heal and grow and letting my brain, body, soul heal and feeling like I’ve become whole again.

The staff exhibited exceptional knowledge and professionalism. Their expertise truly shone through, making the learning experience incredibly informative.The staff was always available to answer questions and provide extra support when needed. Man I don’t know were to start I was scared about doing iop but little did I know that there were people like ms tina and ms carol they were amazing ms tina was awesome she would make it feel like it was a group of good friends and as crazy as it sounds that’s what it became and I wouldn’t want to do it with any other teachers and ms carol was awesome she was very laid back and out going she also made it feel like family so my advice would be just to give it a shot because you will truly come out a better person with a ton of knowledge you had no idea about and then there is ms somone she is truly an angle she helped me in ways that I could never say enough thank you to ever come close to what she did so thank you the world needs more people like y’all three I’ll end with a big ole thank you
