This has been my 5th attempt at trying to battle my addiction most of them secular. By incorporating Christ into my recovery taught me about how to live without a substance and to look to GOD in times of need. For anyone that is looking for a wonderful spiritual recovery center, you will find no better facility than S2L.  Whether you're needing a full detox or needing help after a self detox, S2L has you covered. This was my first trip to rehabilitation and I was unsure on what to expect when I walked in.  They welcomed you as if you were entering their personal home.  Very Christ like in everything they do. All the staff calls you by name like they have know your forever.

Don't get me wrong they have rules, but they are limited and fit into the restructuring of your life that is needed while following Christ. I've see so many people learn to live by Christ in just the short time I've been here, even an atheist became a believer and was saved.

Great place I arrived here agnostic with no hope in life and eventually after gathering much information began to see that I had a sin problem more so than just addiction and only through God was I able to begin to work on myself and get my joy back. My 42 days of stay at S2L was like I was in a disciple house for Christ!   Never once did I see any type of arguments from 20 plus guys living together
This is Not your typical "Rehab" facility.   Christ-Centered all classes.    I would definitely encourage anyone reading this that hard a loved one struggling with addiction to give them a call!

I spent years running from God and hiding wallowing in my shame and love for sin not believing I can come out. S2L was a gift from God. A place where I could come to not escape but return to my first love and the staff and counselors only pointed me towards freedom in Christ and the confidence to trust in that freedom. They do an incredible job of loving on everyone, listening and coaching. They all can relate to anyone and everything you’ve been through regardless of your past or present. This is not just a rehab but a place to experience true peace and rest from the noise and chaos that I was in for so many years. I have tried several secular/12 step treatment centers before coming to S2L, but was left feeling like if I could just modify my behavior and actions I could get by without the use of substances. Unfortunately I could only do that under my own power for a limited time before life would beat me down again.

S2L offers a different model. That is, that my drinking was just a mere symptom of a larger sin problem. That I can have real FREEDOM, not just being sober. I can have a purpose for my life, my desires can change thru Christ. I came here thinking I already knew Jesus, but came to the realization that though I believed in Him and believed he died for my sins, I had never made in Lord of my life. That changed while at S2L.

The staff is so loving here and you can see Christ thru them. They are always more than willing to talk, be a shoulder, give Godly council etc.

I have been to a couple of different rehabilitation programs and this is by far the most beneficial and understanding rehab I have ever been too I am truly grateful for this program and highly recommend coming here if you want to find a different way to live instead of a temporary bandaid.

S2L saved my life. I’ve struggled with addiction for the past 20 years and tried the secular 12 step route to no success. S2L is different God is moving in that place and through the staff. They love their jobs and want to see men get better. Cordell and the rest of the staff are fantastic. If you or a loved one is struggling you can find peace and freedom at S2L.
