Embrace U, Chattanooga, TN
About Embrace U
Embrace U offers two levels of care: a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). These services offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as medication management and psychiatric evaluation services. As an outpatient mental health facility only, there is no residential component of the services offered. However, it is considered a “step-down” or “step-up” service because it is an alternative to traditional outpatient services.

Embrace U Treatment Facility
Embrace U’s Chattanooga location is specially designed to meet the needs of its participants. The facility provides after-school hours for its IOP services. This means that treatment doesn’t always mean giving up educational progress. A notable feature of Embrace U is its services geared towards neurodivergent youth who suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other learning disabilities. These services provide special spaces tailored to their needs, such as sensory spaces and communication styles.
The services offered by Embrace U provide clinical engagement and wellness. The clinical spaces are designed to provide therapeutic assignments and educational resources that aid in developing coping skills and confidence among the participants. The facility creates a sense of belonging among adolescents who might otherwise feel isolated in their struggles. The space is specially designed to be less disruptive than a residential center while providing a high level of clinical care.
